Terms & Conditions

1. PAYMENT

A deposit of 50% of the total price (including VAT) will be required to be paid by the purchaser at the time of ordering. The remaining 50% balance is due 7 days prior to fit out. All cancellations are subject to full loss of deposit.

2. DELIVERY DATES

Delivery dates are estimated and given in good faith, The Room Store Ltd cannot be held liable for any costs incurred through late delivery of the products ordered.

3. OWNERSHIP

The Room Store Ltd shall retain ownership of all goods until the full amount of the invoice value has been paid. It is not possible to schedule a delivery date until the balance in full has been received. The return of goods which have been supplied in accordance with the order will be not be accepted.

4. LIABILITY

Goods should be insured by the purchaser from the date of installation. The Room Store Ltd are responsible only for the goods up to time of installation. Under no circumstances will The Room Store Ltd be liable for any loss or injury attributable to defects in the goods or otherwise in relation to the performance of any contract entered into between The Room Store Ltd and the Purchaser. Furthermore, the Purchaser shall indemnity The Room Store Ltd against any claim for such damage, loss or injury made against The Room Store Ltd by a third party.

5. DAMAGE/MISSING ITEMS

Any damage or shortage of items must be made in writing within 7 days. All items will be checked on delivery and The Room Store Ltd will advise the purchaser of any outstanding items. We accept no liability for items which go missing after installation.

6. CANCELLATION

The Room Store Ltd reserves the right to pass on any costs incurred to the purchaser, through change or cancellation of installation date, which is not due to The Room Store Ltd.

7. FORCE MAJEURE etc

The Room Store Ltd will not be liable to the Purchaser for any breach of Contract arising from or which may have been caused by Act of God, Force Majeure, War, Riot, Civil Commotion, Government Order, Accident, Strike or other Industrial Action, Adverse Weather Conditions, Delays in Transport or by any other matter over which The Room Store Ltd has no control.

8. DESIGN

Design, material and finish are liable to change without notice in the light of continuing development. We reserve the right to substitute any items with those of a similar quality.
